My Boy Axel was attacked. His chances were low. The amputation of his front Left leg was strong. Thank you so much to the loving staff at South 40. Axel will not have to have his leg amputated. Water Therapy has made such a difference. Axel loves his Monday Wednesday Friday PT! Thank you South 40.

I took my dog to get a few teeth pulled and they were amazing to her. They took the time to do what was needed and made sure she came out healthy. Ellie was amazing to her, she is such a sweet positive girl. Haden was also great, answered all my questions and explained everything. Dr. Gordon came and spoke with me, explaining the procedure and told me what to expect and how to use the meds. The price was also fair. I love this place. -Lacey

We can’t thank EVERYONE at South 40 Veterinary Hospital enough for the incredible care they gave our dog, Willie. While he’s still not completely out of the woods, he is doing so much better than he was when we dropped him off, and we’re so grateful for everything they did to help him! Dr Gonzales and Nora were both incredibly attentive, thorough, and compassionate. They took the time to explain everything, answered ALL of our questions, and kept us updated with excellent communication throughout his stay (multiple times a day), which gave us so much peace of mind during a very stressful time. A special shoutout to the Nora for the extra love and care she showed our baby boy. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about him, and that meant the world to us! Thank you all for your professionalism, kindness, and dedication. We are truly grateful for the care everyone gave Willie and would highly recommend this hospital to anyone looking for a team that treats your pet like family.

We rescued this 3-4 week old abandoned kitten on Friday. Being worried about her health I call South 40 Vet. They made an appointment for us immediately. The staff was fast and efficient, thoughtful and caring.

We couldn’t be happier with the care our dogs receive at South 40 Veterinary Hospital. From emergency visits to sick appointments and routine wellness care, every experience has been exceptional. One of the biggest differences we’ve noticed is how comfortable our dogs are with the entire staff. They are so much more relaxed than they ever were at our previous veterinary clinic, which speaks volumes about the kindness, patience, and compassion everyone shows them. Dr. Van Fleet is outstanding. She is knowledgeable, caring, and always takes the time to answer our questions and make sure we understand our pets’ care. It’s clear that she truly loves animals and treats them like her own. We are so grateful to have found South 40 and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinary team that genuinely cares about both their patients and their families.

Michelle (tech)was super nice to Mocha n very attentive. Now Dr. Gonzalez came highly recommended. I trust him with Mocha and the success of the upcoming surgery. The way the both of them loved on Mocha during her exam gave me so much relief

I have used 4 vets in the college station area- including A&M and had bad experiences! I was so grateful to have found the vets at South 40. They humanely euthanized my very ill older baby and were thorough and showed me the results of the tests… the genuine heartfelt approach from DVM Gonzales was the only vet I have found to trust to lay my fur baby, guardian, and best friend to rest. I have used DVM Lee as well for my new pup and he was informative and kind as well. I will be using them for my horses from now on too. It’s so important to have vets that are thorough, kind, skilled, and do not just try to take you to the cleaners.

My family brought in our Mitzi for an after hours emergency visit and ultimately made the difficult decision to say goodbye. Dr. Lee gave us all the information we needed to make the right choice, and made a very difficult process a lot smoother. He talked us through the why and how of every procedure and was upfront about potential costs. Jackson, our vet tech, was very kind and obviously cared about us and our girl. Thank you South 40 for helping us in our time of need. I have faith our Mitzi passed in the most respectful and loving way possible.

1st time patient and Sgt. Pepper got 1st class treatment. Everyone was so nice and gentle with him. He had a mini carrot stuck in his throat and coughed it down. So was still coughing and wheezing but by the time we were through, he was dragging me to the car. I have only kind words to say of this clinic. But having 5 dogs, I do wish I could have gotten a discount of some sort, military, disabled, senior citizen, 1st time patient, something to make me want to bring my 5 dogs in for all care. We came in from Navasota. But on the cuff, was clean, friendly, through and honest. Thank you for allowing us to come to your clinic over the weekend on an emergency basis. (That too cost extra.) But was very happy situation not serious afterall, and happy everyone so nice to us both.
